Welcome to my webpage!

My name is Brandie Frazier and I teach third grade. This is my sixteenth year of teaching. I am a graduate of Shawnee State University with a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and a graduate of Marygrove College with a Masters degree in the Art of Teaching. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, and scrapbooking.

In third grade we focus on skills to prepare us for our state testing, which is currently called the AIR test. This will be taken in late spring. Third grade takes tests in reading and math 

In reading, we will be covering skills to improve comprehension, strategies for fluency and understanding, vocabulary, the writing process, and grammar skills.

A nine weeks grade will be based on the following:
•Grammar
•Spelling
•Writing
•Reading
•Phonics

In math, we will be covering money, telling time, fractions, graphs, measurement, geometry, probability, facts, place value, and decimals.

A nine weeks grade will be based on the following:
•homework
•quizzes
•tests
•fact assessments
