Boys' Varsity Soccer
The Boys' Varsity Soccer Team finished there season with a record of 6-6-6. 
Girls' Varsity Soccer
The Girls' Soccer Team made it to the Regional Semifinals with a record of 10 and 1, after winning districts. 
Girls' Volleyball
The Girls' Volleyball team won district for 2017. They made it to the Regional Semifinals against Tuscarawas Valley where they lost 3-0. The Burg Volleyball team ended their season with 14-0 as SOC Champions and a 23-3 overall record. 
*Ellie Ruby was voted 2nd Team All State/1st Team All District and played in State/District Senior All Star Games.
*Abbie Kallner made 3rd Team All District and also won Player of the Year in the SOC 
*Ellie Ruby won Defensive Player of the Year in SOC 
*Ellie Ruby, Abbie Kallner, Ali McQuay, and Mallory Bergen made 1st Team All SOC
*Mia Darnell and Adyson Rase made 2nd Team All SOC 
Football Team Division 5 State Champions
CONGRATULATIONS to the 2017 Wheelersburg High School Football Team and Coach Woodward on winning the Division 5 State Championship in a victory over Pemberville Eastwood in overtime.
First Team:  Wheelersburg:  Tanner Holden, Xander Carmichael, CJ Hall, Alex George, Nic Parsley, Bryson Keeney, Cole Lowery, Trent Salyers.
Second Team:  Wheelersburg:  Jeremy Cooper, Avery Donini, Makya Matthews
Offensive Player of the Year:  Tanner Holden - Wheelersburg
Defensive Player of the Year:  Xander Carmichael - Wheelersburg
Lineman of the Year:  CJ Hall - Wheelersburg
Coach of the Year:  Rob Woodward - Wheelersburg 
Girls' Tennis SOC Results 2017
Congratulations to the Lady Pirates Tennis Team and Coach Jodi Wright! Lea Wright won the singles division and SOC Player of the Year. Maddie Gill and Kaitlyn Sommer won the doubles division, the first time that Burg girls tennis won both titles in the same year. All three girls received First Team all-SOC. The Lady Pirates were the SOC Champions. Jodi Wright was named SOC Coach of the Year.
Congratulations to Maddie Gill and Kaitlyn Sommer for advancing to state in doubles after the district competition yesterday at Ohio University. They are the first Wheelersburg girls doubles team to advance to state. Lea Wright also competed well as a district qualifier in singles.
