Welcome to my Webpage!

Welcome to my Webpage! Welcome to my homepage!

My name is Andrew Heimbach and this will be my 18th year of teaching, and my 12th year at Wheelersburg. I teach Social Studies I for freshmen, college prep World History, and AP World History for juniors and seniors.

For students and parents that want to plan ahead, all of my students will need a 3-ring binder (1 1/2" to 2") as well as a pack of 5 tab dividers to organize assignments/notes from class.

I attended Mount Vernon Nazarene University and graduated from there in 2000. I received my master's degree in education from Marygrove College in 2005. Before being hired at Wheelersburg, I taught middle school and high school students in Ashville, Ohio at Teays Valley Schools from 2001-2008. I also serve as a varsity assistant coach on the baseball team in the spring. I am looking forward to a great 2018-2019 school year!

"A people without knowledge of their past history, origin and culture, is like a tree without roots."

-Marcus Garvey
